About Alex Khuu, CPA.
Alex Khuu is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years in tax, accounting, and audit. He received his CA designation in 2002 and has completed the CICA Advanced International Tax and In-Depth Tax courses.
He began specializing in tax at the Canada Revenue Agency as an Income and International Tax Auditor, where he gained knowledge of the tax audit process and internal practices relating to audit selection, audit techniques, and negotiating settlements.
He then joined a national accounting firm, Ernst & Young LLP, where he advised large multi-national companies on tax issues and planning opportunities. He received formal awards in recognition of outstanding service provided to clients and contributions to the firm.
With his extensive tax experience, Alex has helped clients minimize their tax rates, recover taxes from CRA audits, and resolved significant penalties.
